Installing the Winemaster C18IN

NAVIGATION

The C18IN Winemaster is installed entirely within the wine cellar; it can be be fitted on the floor, or on a support suitable to bear the weight of the unit. Brackets are provided for this purpose.

The hot air must be expelled outside, or to a well-ventilated room, where the temperature will not exceed 30 degrees C.

The inlet and outlet ducts are taken through the wall, and must be separated by at least 200mm, to prevent recirculation. Bends in the ducting must have a radius of at least 300mm, and the total length of each duct should be as short as possible, and must not exceed 10 metres.

SUPPORTING BRACKETS

Two brackets are supplied, which may be used to support the unit if desired. The diagram (left) shows the spacing required for mounting the brackets. Use screws and wall plugs as suitable for the wall material. The screws to secure the unit to the bracket require a no.10 key.

PIERCING THE WALL

Where the ducts are to be mounted, drill 130mm holes and insert the grids. The diagram below shows some possible layouts.

INSTALLING THE DUCTS

The ducts fit over the flue collars (grids), and several turns of duct tape must be used to seal the two together. The insulation is then pushed over the collar and secured with the ring clamp, as below.

INSTALLING THE DRAINAGE

Slide the PVC tube (3) on the condensate container (1); open the ring (2) and slide it along the tube (3) as close as possible to the unit.

IMPORTANT! Wait for 24 hours to allow refrigerant to settle before switching on the air-conditioner!
