Installing the Winemaster C50IN

The C50IN Winemaster is installed entirely within the wine cellar; it can be be fitted on the floor, or on a support suitable to bear the weight of the unit.

The hot air must be expelled outside, or to a well-ventilated room, where the temperature will not exceed 30 degrees C.

The inlet and outlet ducts are taken through the wall, and must be separated by at least 200mm, to prevent recirculation. Bends in the ducting must have a radius of at least 300mm, and the total length of each duct should be as short as possible, and must not exceed 10 metres.

PIERCING THE WALL

Where the two ducts are to be mounted, drill 160mm holes and insert the grids. The diagram below shows some possible layouts.

INSTALLING THE DUCTS

The ducts fit over the flue collars (grids), and several turns of duct tape must be used to seal the two together:

The insulation is then pushed over the collar and secured with the ring clamp.

INSTALLING THE WATER FLUE

Screw the bend, supplied with the unit, on the right side of the unit. Slide the PVC tube over it Connect the free end of the tube to a wastewater pont or tank. Arrange the pipe so that it slopes downwards at every point.

IMPORTANT! Wait for 24 hours to allow refrigerant to settle before switching on the air-conditioner!
